2xSpicy Buldak is the ‘end plate king’ of spicy ramen. 2xSpicy Buldak has enhanced spiciness for consumers who want a stronger taste. There is a Scoville index that measures the degree of spiciness. The Scoville scale is a scale used to measure the spicy taste of capsicum plants and was created by Wilbur Scoville (1865~1942), an American pharmacist.

For example, cheongyang peppers have a maximum of about 12,000 scovilles (usually 4,000 to 7,000 scovilles), which means that you need to dilute the oil of cheongyang peppers with 12,000 times the amount of sugar water so that you do not feel spicy.

2xSpicy Buldak is about 2.5 times spicy compared to the original buldak-bokkeummyeon (4404) with a Scoville index of 10,000, and about 1.2 times spicier than the existing nuclear-buldak (8706). Among the ramen released in Korea, it currently has a spicy taste.
